My number one goal when packing is to pack as lightly as possible! My travel necessities include:

A warm cashmere sweater that can be dressed up or down, simple & versatile jewelry, a pair of boots (worn on the plane), Bioderma travel size makeup remover (gentle on weary skin), rosebud salve (to dab on eyelids, lips, and hands when the airplane starts to dry out my skin), a Mason Pearson brush that my mother gave me when I was 10 and has lasted 15 years, a kindle (reading essential!), and Moroccan Hair Oil for dry ends.

Juicing with Jewels!

We were so excited when our new Breville Juicer arrived that we just had to halt what we were doing and make some home made juices.

We tried a few different recipes but here was our favorite one.

The "Emerald Energizer"

Ingredients

2 cups Spinach

2 cups Cucumber

1 head of Celery

1/2 inch of teaspoon of ginger root

1 bunch parsley

2 Apples

1 Lime

1/2 Lemon

Sip, layer jewels, repeat

New York International Gift Show
